help improve quality of life, promote
independence and provide peace of
mind to you and your loved ones.
We help to meet the needs of our aging
community and provide relief for
caregivers at our comfortable,
safe, homelike location in Holmdel.
Note: Pleasant Valley Adult Day Care, Holmdel, NJ will be closing its operation on July 30th, 2010. Thank you for your interest.
Our purpose
- To provide a secure, protective
social environment for frail, moderately
handicapped, or mild to moderately
confused, older adults who might
otherwise require institutional care
- To offer an active daily schedule
of stimulating life-enriching experiences
- To create a loving, caring
atmosphere with supervised activities to
affirm dignity and relieve boredom
- To offer respite for caregivers from constant emotional pressures and the
demands of caring for a disabled elderly relative or friend
In order to participate in our daycare program, you must be at least 16 years of age,
free of contagious disease and mobile (including the use of assistive devices). Call
us to find out if you qualify.
Our center is staffed by a full-time director, recreation assistants, registered nurse,
social workers, activities coordinator and transportation personnel.
Overview of our services
- Social opportunities such as creative crafts, discussions, table games, puzzles and field trips
- Transportation may be available to and from many locations
- Health and support services
- Physical and occupational therapy
- Provide a light breakfast, hot noon meal and afternoon snack

Insurance
There is a daily charge for services and the program participates with a number of
grant programs including Medicaid, Statewide Respite and a dementia grant.
