Bayshore Community Hospital
Foundation, the fund-raising affiliate of Bayshore Community Health
Services, was established to raise funds for the sole benefit of the
Hospital and Bayshore Health Care Center. The Foundation raises funds that
are used to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, expand our campus and
develop unique programs that help Bayshore fulfill its mission of caring
to the community. The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue
Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and a registered charity
with the state of New Jersey.
Examples of how our funds have been used over the past few years include:
- Cancer Program and Health Education
- Construction of the John Boyd and Kathryn Roberta Mitchell Pavilion for Emergency Services
- Creation of Bayshore's Interfaith Memorial Chapel
- Support for cancer programming and treatment
- Funding of nursing scholarships
- Expansion of the Harry Poppick Medical Library at Bayshore
- Creation of the Vassar Eye Center, the region's only free resource center for people with vision problems
We invite you to join with other committed members of the community in
supporting Bayshore, and offer the following ways to show this support:
Special Events
Throughout the year the Foundation sponsors fund-raising events, including
our Golden Gull Golf Classic, Annual Fall Charity Ball, Day at the Races
at Monmouth Park Racetrack and annual Holiday Lights of Love.
Capital Campaign
Our current campaign is in support of Bayshore's new $14 million
Ambulatory Imaging Pavilion, which expands the diagnostic radiology
services available, including a Comprehensive Breast Care Center.
Memorial Gifts
Donors may make a contribution in memory of or in honor of any individual,
family or group.
Planned Giving
By including Bayshore in your estate planning, you can create a lasting
bond with our mission and ensure our community is cared for in generations
to come. Aside from the tax advantages associated with planned giving,
making a deferred gift allows you to support a charity without impacting
current or future income.
